Until 1985, all editions of Clue and Cluedo featured the same 6 playable characters. However, due to the numerous expansions and new versions they've released since then, there are now multiple extra characters floating about. Ever heard of Sergeant Gray or Lady Lavender? Or the graphically named groundskeeper, Rusty Naylor? Or, best of all, The Black Dog, which simply lies around the mansion blocking spaces?
