Miss Scarlet (who always rolls first in gameplay) was a classic femme fatale character. She was originally depicted as a blonde in a red dress and then, in 1972, she was redesigned to be of Chinese background (with her nickname becoming The Mercenary Of Macau). In 1996, she became a Caucasian brunette, which more closely matched her depiction by Lesley Ann Warren in the 1985 film version.
