Since 2010, America's Library of Congress has been expending the resources necessary to gather the nearly four million tweets Americans have posted each day to Twitter since it became a thing in 2006. Not just some tweets the best of what thumb typing has to offer all four million tweets posted every day of the year. Now that's some hard working tax dollars.
