We're not making this up. On the island of Manhattan, in New York, New York, there are several million dollar plus apartments for sale equal to the cost, if not greater, than some European castles. Why anyone would choose to live in a cramped, inner-city apartment over a spacious, stately castle is beyond the scope of our understanding. Some Americans just really love New York.
