2. Barry Island, Home To The World's Most Depressing Theme Park
Barry Island (which anyone who doesn't live in Cardiff will probably only know from Gavin & Stacy) can be pretty grim at the best of times, with the theme park a depressing reminder of the seaside town's better days. Despite it's size, it was the closest we had to a theme park though, and even the log flume - when it was actually working - could be fun on a hot day. Up until recently, it was a pile of rubble, and the talk of redevelopment has boiled down to a dodgy looking fair moving in. You're honestly just better off just travelling to Oakwood.
