12. McArabia

Sold in various countries throughout the Middle East, the McArabia is a pita bread sandwich which incorporates either grilled chicken or grilled kofta (a type of minced or ground beef with spices), and is topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, shredded carrot, and a garlic mayonaise on top. As seen in the commercial above, another type was added to the menu for a limited time back in 2013: Sujuk, which is a dry, spicy sausage which can be made from a small variety of different meats. With flatbreads and pitas growing in popularity around the world, one can only hope that McDonald's will consider exporting this item to consumers beyond the Middle East. For now, we'll just have to settle for wraps.
