People on Facebook learn pretty early on that you should never try and make plans by posting on other peoples' walls. Feelings get hurt, people get upset, surprises are ruined, and "small gatherings" turn into 1,000 strong house parties which appear in the Daily Mail. At least your Mum's trying to do something nice for you.
