8. Fellow Australians Are No Longer Interesting To You
It's tempting when you first move to London to cling to every other Australian like a life ring. It's this need to stick with your own that leads you to seek out Walkabouts and introduce yourself to strangers at parties because you heard them say "heaps" instead of "loads" and realised they were a countryman. The problem is, there are so many Australians in London that the novelty wears off pretty quickly and after a few months you'll understand why the heaps-guy rolled his eyes when you asked what uni he went to.
