Why Get Excited? The general consensus among fans of Vertigos Hellblazer series is that the occult adventures of supernatural gumshoe, John Constantine, havent yet been faithfully realised on film. Thankfully, NBC looks to have exorcized the demons of 2005s less than stellar cinematic outing with this intriguing adaptation. All the early signs for Constantine are good; theres some decent casting in place Welsh actor Matt Ryan looks to be a good fit in the titular role the pilot has been directed by Neil Marshall, and Batman scribe, David S Goyer, is overseeing events in an exec producer role. Devilishly promising. Whens It Out? Constantine is set to air in late October and you can check out the trailer below.
