28. Super Bowl 50 (Feb 7)

It's the big one: the 50th Super Bowl, taking place in Santa Clara, California's Levi's Stadium with as-yet-undetermined competitors for the most drawn-out annual sporting event in the world (4 hours for 1 hour of sport, really!?) With a 30-second TV spot running at a record high cost of $5 million, it's safe to say that the Super Bowl is a bigger commercial juggernaut than ever, and even if the game doesn't go the way you hope, at least you'll get some cool new movie trailers and TV spots to feast your eyes on, as well as some super-cool commercials. And let's face it, even if you're not an NFL fan, it's a great excuse to drink some cold beers and eat a ton of meaty snacks.
