30 Awesome Reasons To Stay Alive In 2016

26. Tom Clancy's The Division (Mar 8)

Though it's fair to say that the hype surrounding The Division has died down significantly since its E3 2013 reveal, aided by some fishy graphical downgrades and mixed reviews coming from alpha testers, it's still hard not to be intrigued by Ubisoft's open-world shooter. For one, it may not live up to the terrific standard of that 2013 demo, but it looks great nonetheless, and if the developer can master instanced combat in the way that so many other recent games have failed to (looking at you, Destiny), then it could be one of the year's big multiplayer hits. It's always good to be cautiously optimistic at best when it comes to Ubisoft, though, so maybe wait for the reviews before you spend your hard-earned cash.
