4. New Signage

One of the major ways that Disney has been criticised over the incident is the lack of signage warning guests about the dangers of Floridian wildlife.

Along the water's edge at Seven Seas Lagoon prior to the attack, guests would have only been able to see "No Swimming" signs.

There was no indication as to why guests should not take to the water. Although it is likely that alligators would be one reason, it could also be due to the steep drop off after you enter the lake or even the possible presence of dangerous bacteria in the water.

Disney will now be amending the signage around all the beaches on property, warning guests of dangerous wildlife in the area and to stay away from the water.

The sign also asks guests not to feed wildlife. There have been signs around property for visitors no to do this, but looking at some footage that has appeared on Youtube, this is being ignored by many.
