6. Diagon Alley Gets A Make Over
If you're a Harry Potter fan it's worth planning a trip to Universal Orlando for the Holidays just to see Diagon Alley transformed into a Christmas wonderland.
As soon as Halloween is over the (House) Elves of Universal begin decorating the Wizarding thoroughfare; each shop getting their own unique set of decorations. The wreaths and boughs are designed to look like each shop keeper has created their own display. Book pages adorn Florish and Blotts, there are are feathers on the Owl Post wreath and ribbons are threaded throughout Madam Malkin's display.
As of right now you can also head over to The Hopping Pot (or any of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter's restaurants) and grab yourself a delicious Hot Butterbeer. There are so many types of Butterbeer to try but by far my favourite is the hot version. It tastes like a warming butterscotch fudge hot chocolate, yum.
I recommend staying around until dusk to see Diagon Alley in all its festive glory as the twinkling lights begin to appear.
