Universal Orlando Resort's Mardi Gras is one big party and what is a party without food and drinks!
Located all around Universal Studios are food booths that you can sample carnival cuisine from all around the world. There's Chilaquiles Verdes in Mexico, Currywurst in Germany and of course King Cake in New Orleans.
As for drinks you can chose between alcoholic beverages including the Category 5 and the refreshing Butterfly Pea Blossom Tea from the Thailand booth.
All the food booths open from 11am which means you can spend your whole day sampling the different treats. Universal has even created a food and beverage card that allows you to save on tasting.
Universal Orlando Resort Food and Beverage Card costs $65 but contains $75 to spend, saving you $10. Whilst any Annual Passholders can spend $120 and get $150 loaded onto the card.
The Mardi Gras themed Tribute store has some themed baked treats including a King Gator cookie, King Cake Whoopie pie and a mini cake.
The food and beverages special offerings are all over the resort, with each of the different hotels offering Mardi Gras themed treats.
