5. The Unstoppable Axolotl
Plenty of lizards and amphibians can regrow limbs when they're careless enough to lose them, but the axolotl is on some next Wolverine level when it comes to regeneration.
Don't be fooled by his frilly pink gills and goofy smile, this guy is the terminator of the animal kingdom.
It can not only grow back a limb or two, but also skin, organs, spinal column and even its brain. You can crush it, burn it, cut it up and brain damage it, cut its spinal cord and it will keep bouncing back, healing without any scarring - it also seems to have some kind of resistance to cancer. Not bad for a salamander that hasn't figured out how to put its gills on the inside.
Granted, Wolverine is a slightly cooler superhero name than axolotl, but Logan could probably learn a thing or two from this little dude.
