Cleanliness is next to godliness, right? Nope.
So you joined a gym, downloaded a meditation app and actually made your god damn bed - you're nailing this grown up thing. You even alternated between water and wine last night and only have a little hangover.
Unfortunately, there's plenty of "good" advice out there that, at best, is a massive waste of time and money and, at worst, is actively damaging. Bummer.
Well, they say that the road to hell is paved with good intentions and, even if you think you're doing everything "right", there's probably something in there with no more basis in fact or reality than the existence of Hippogriffs.
Well, the good news is that there are a few goody-two-shoes New Year's resolutions that you can safely drop from your repertoire without ill effect. The bad news is that you'll now have to come up with some different ones that actually work, and are probably going to be even harder to stick to, because the reason these "health hacks" and "good habits" are so popular, is due to the fact that they're easy to stick to, and help you feel better about yourself.
So, bullsh*t detectors at the ready lads, because we're going to sort the fact from the fiction.
