"Some people want to be in a cage." Fox's Stuart Varney, backed up by Bill O'Reilly, openly claims poor people are to be blamed for their own lifestyles in this video; saying they should "fight their way up the food chain".

Russell's response is that we should be looking at poverty as a failing in our system, not attack the ones struggling. When 40% of children living in poverty aren't prepared for primary school; that is not the fault of the poor: it's the fault of the people with too much money, protected by the system.
