Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights 30: 10 Things We'd Love To See
9. The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina
With Universal's strong relationship with Netflix thanks to two different Stranger Things mazes, hopefully we can expect to see even more of their hit programs make it to Horror Nights. One such show we would like to see more of is The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
This comic adaptation is very different from the 90s Nickelodeon version. It's dark and filled with the occult. Zelda frequently kills her sister, there's demonic possession and human sacrifice. Although aimed at the teen market, this show isn't quite as sweet as its sister show Riverdale.
The shows first series has a number of standout scenes that would certainly work well as a maze at HHN. The episode " Dreams in a Witch House" with the Batibat springs to mind as does "An Exorcism in Greendale".
Season 2 became even darker as Sabrina embraced her witch side. There's a jealous possessed wolf, terrifying prophecies and of course Satan himself.
With season 3 just around the corner bringing the first two series to life at HHN could certainly be a possibility. The show is still fresh and would the fill the void of Stranger Things for the event's new found Netflix crowd. I personally love the visuals of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. There's a great mix of indoor and outdoor locations and plenty of elements that Universal could use to put together an stunning house.
Despite being aimed at a younger audience, I do have faith that Universal would be able to still create a spooky maze, all the material is there to make this a creepy house.
