Universal Orlando Resort have finally announced that it will be opening a brand new hotel in 2018.

Aventura Hotel will be located close to the recently opened Sapphire Falls hotel and is rumoured to have around 600 bedrooms and will be a reasonably priced "value option" for guests at the resort.

At 16 stories tall it will be the tallest of Universal's onsite accommodation and decorated in serene, beach like colours. In fact nature seems to be the main theme when it comes to the decoration of Aventura Hotel, in particular sunlight. With 18 feet tall windows in the lobby and floor to ceiling ones in guest rooms, the bright Florida sun will be made well use of.

The crowning glory of this hotel appears to be the rooftop bar. Universal have described the lounge as having "incredible panoramic views – you’ll almost be level with the tip of nearby Krakatau, the 200-foot-tall centerpiece of Universal’s Volcano Bay"

In terms of food there will be a casual food hall (a staple of any value hotel) with lots of different cuisines to choose from. The lobby artwork also shows a Starbucks Coffee shop, because even on vacation you the day only starts properly after you've had your morning latte.

As with Universal's other Prime Value hotel, Cabana Bay, guests will be able to take advantage of early park admission.

Doors to Universal Adventura Hotel are set to open in Summer 2018.
