10 Active Boxers Who Could End Their Career Unbeaten
10. Rances Barthelemy
Cuban lightweight Rances Barthelemy only became a world champion at 135lbs as recent as December 2015 but there is already a feeling that he deserves to be classed as the best operator in his weight class.
Like most fighters who originate from his nation, he is technically gifted and he also has the ability to switch from orthodox to southpaw. Most of his 13 stoppages came during the early part of his professional career but he has enough power in both hands to keep his opponents at bay.
Barthelemy - who is undefeated in 24 outings in the paid ranks after a successful stint in the amateurs - also earned a world title at super-featherweight in 2014 and having already tested the water at super-lightweight, it would come as no surprise if he becomes a three-weight world champion sooner rather than later.
His undefeated record could depend on whether he crosses paths with Terence Crawford but if as expected the Omaha puncher finds a home at welterweight, the path could be clear for Barthelemy to clear up at 140lbs.
