10. Randy Couture (Vs. Chuck Liddell)

After a string of inconsistent results and two heavy TKO losses to Josh Barnett and Ricco Rodriguez, Couture made the decision to move to light heavyweight in an attempt to save his career.

His first match at the new weight was against none other than ten fight win streak and all round hard man, Chuck Liddell. Couture was 39 at this point and it was thought that a loss to Liddell would send him into retirement.

There was no sign of a weight issue during the fight, Couture took the middle of the cage early on and stayed there throughout the fight. Between takedowns and punches, he landed a lot of knees to the body, all in an attempt to slow Liddell down.

As both men were tiring in the third, Couture shot for a double and ended up in full mount. From there, he picked his shots got the TKO stoppage. After the fight, Couture stayed at 205lb, going on to lift the belt later that year.
