Ryan Bertrand has been unfortunate with injury problems and his fitness has perhaps suffered from his time away from the pitch. The Southampton full-back is 1.79m tall and weighs 85kg giving him a BMI score of 26.5. The defender will now be looking to regain his fitness and push for an England place as well as regularly maintaining his position in the Saints' first team. Bertrand has an excellent opportunity to stake his claim for the left-back slot after Manchester United's Luke Shaw broke his leg in two places against PSV Eindhoven earlier this year.
