With apologies to Ross "The Real Deal" Pearson, Jordan Mein is the real deal. At just twenty-four years old, and fighting professionally since he was sixteen, Mein has 29-9 record. Want to know some crazy facts? At sixteen, his very first fight ended in a loss - to currently UFC welterweight contender Rory MacDonald. He's also lost to TUF runner up Mike Ricci, title hopeful Tyron Woodley, the recently banished (for shoving a referee) Jason High, and a man who recently fought in a title eliminator, Matt Brown. The Brown loss happens to be his only loss in the UFC, where he is now 3-1. He's won a bonus in two of his four UFC fights, and holds wins (including outside the UFC) over Joe Riggs, Josh Burkman, Dan Miller, and now Pyle. The fact that Mein has twice as much experience as fighters twenty years old is absolutely insane. If his body holds up, he could be fantastic in his prime, which is still a couple of years away!
