It's easy to see the attraction of Arsenal. The safety net of Champions League football each season, the lure of playing week on week with some of the finest players in Europe, and the chance to learn from one of the most astute managers on the continent. On the flip side, of course, there is the lack of progression. For every season spent celebrating another qualification for Europe's elite competition, there was nothing to put in the trophy cabinet for nine years. That drought was finally arrested in May of this year when the Gunners made hard work of defeating Hull City in the FA Cup final, but questions had long been raised about Arsene Wenger's ability to turn potential into silverware. With a penchant for young talent, having unearthed the likes of Thierry Henry and Cesc Fabregas, he has come close to luring budding superstars to north London in recent years. However, judging by their lack of success on the silverware front, a number of these players will be far happier with the decision that they ultimately made in the end. Take a look at the ten players who are probably relieved that they didn't end up at Arsenal.
