With Paul Konchesky possibly about to leave the King Power Stadium, Leicester City could need some support at left-back with the only other options being Christian Fuchs and Jeffrey Schlupp (who is more of a left-winger). Bastian Oczipka (above, left) could be the answer for the Foxes. The German defender, 26, has been a fairly solid option for current team Eintracht Frankfurt and could potentially move onto bigger and better things in the near future following a break-through season in the Bundesliga. Possibly perceived as a late bloomer, Oczipka was able to provide six assists and even scored one goal for the ninth placed team last season. A product of the Bayer Leverkusen youth academy, he has scored a total of six goals and provided 28 assists in 242 appearances, whilst impressing in varying defensive units in competitions such as the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and even the UEFA Champions League. However, whether Leicester will be able to complete a deal for Oczipka is another matter entirely. Having been a regular name on the team-sheet for Eintracht Frankfurt, the German club may be reluctant in selling their left-back anytime soon. Also, his current contract was only renewed recently so he may not wish to move on so soon after committing his future.
