This time last year, nobody gave Liverpool even the remotest chance of winning the Premier League title: the bookies made them sixth favourites, and even a top four finish was mocked by rival supporters. Brendan Rodgers' side proved everybody wrong, however, producing some wonderful attacking football, blitzing a number of the country's top sides- Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester United and Everton were all embarrassed by the likes of Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge, Raheem Sterling and Philippe Coutinho- before agonisingly missing out on the title at the expense of Manchester City. As the 2014/15 campaign gets underway, Liverpool have once again been written off by the majority in terms of being a title-winning side. With Suarez gone they are supposedly far weaker, the likes of City, Chelsea and Arsenal are all apparently far stronger and the Champions League will act as a distraction. The list goes on. The Merseyside club are being vastly underrated by many though, and there is absolutely no reason why they can't silence the doubters once again this season and go one better, winning their first league title since 1990 in the process. Here are 10 reasons why Liverpool will be champions come next May.
