10. It's Easier Than Other Sports

Unlike most other activities, running requires almost nothing except a positive attitude and a decent pair of shoes (other clothes are optional, but recommended). You don't need to break the bank on any elaborate equipment in the shape of racquets, clubs, balls, hoops, pads, chalk (yes, chalk) or in the case of equestrian, a horse. There really is no more economical sport (unless you happen to live on a boat, in which case swimming is a better option).
