10 Reasons You SHOULD Care About Super Bowl LIV

10. Jennifer Lopez And Shakira At Halftime!

If you're into this sort of thing, let's not forget that the Super Bowl isn't just a game; it's also a full-fledged party.

The precious slot between the second and third quarters has morphed over the years into a lucrative extravaganza known as the Halftime Show, featuring some of the world's biggest musical stars. From U2 to Prince, Tom Petty to Katy Perry, Michael Jackson to Janet Jackson, the Super Bowl's halftime performance has consistently generated some of the most spectacular, inspiring, and, if nothing else, memorable moments in pop culture.

This year's Miami-set showdown will come with an appropriately spicy Latin flavour, courtesy of Jennifer Lopez and Shakira. "Whenever, Wherever" they make their appearance (presumably halftime), they're sure to "Live it Up" while "On the Floor".

The best news for viewers is that after last year's substandard showing by Maroon 5, it's hard to believe that anything could be worse. For J-Lo and Shakira, merely showing up is likely to produce a better reception. Indeed, they could "Try Everything" and, short of any obvious lip-syncing, the tandem should be trusted to provide a reliably entertaining performance.

What's more, these live events always have the potential to produce something wholly unexpected, as Katy Perry's bizarre Left Shark can attest to!
