6. Ivan Cordoba

Ivan Cordoba joined Internazionale on the very first day of the 21st Century and never looked back.

The centre-back made 455 total appearances for the club as they won five consecutive Serie A titles, seven domestic cups and the 2009/10 Champions League.

The defensive unit of Cordoba, Javier Zanetti, Walter Samuel and Julio Cesar was something to behold.

As the 10th most-capped player in Colombia's history he is revered in both Milan and his homeland, helping his country win the 2000/01 Copa America - the first major title in their history.

If this isn't impressive enough, Cordoba scored the only goal of their 1-0 victory over Mexico in the final.

As his Inter career drew to a close he was still battling with Lucio and Samuel for a starting spot, though knee surgery kept him out for a large part of the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons.

Cordoba struggled in his final season with 4 of his 5 appearances resulting in a loss. However, his final game for the Nerazzurri was a 4-2 derby day win over AC Milan.

At the final whistle, all of his Inter teammates donned 'Cordoba 2' shirts and a few of Milan's players (including international teammate Mario Yepes) approached him to congratulate him and wish him the best.
