3. Classic Liverpool

D*mn and blast word counts, for those two aforementioned are a perfectly concise summation of Leicester City Vs. Liverpool.

The former almost undid the latter very quickly, with Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez rolling back the (two) years to when they were an irresistible attacking force. Defensive frailties threatened to ruin their day, with Simon Mignolet agoraphobic on the goal line and Joël Matip rendered a tortoise in comparison to Vardy's hare - though you can't complete the analogy, for Liverpool's eventual win, secured by a composed Henderson strike despite another late scare, wasn't the result of some grand strategy.

They simply, as they are wont to do, scored more goals than they conceded.
