The Black Beast is the newest addition to the UFC heavyweight roster that appears on this list. Dana White has called him "scary" and make no mistake, he is. Outside the UFC he holds a win over the rising Josh Rosholt. He claims to train with the goal of beating UFC champion Cain Velasquez. While it's way too soon to tell if he'll ever make it that far (and he may not), Lewis is a tough guy who was introduced to the MMA game after serving three and a half years in prison stemming from a probation violation after being convicted of aggravated assault. It's safe to say that for Lewis, fighting is both a way out and an outlet - and inside the octagon, he really is a beast, with his first two UFC victories being brutal ground and pound wins. He has gone the distance with names like Shawn Jordan before, so he can stand toe-to-toe with some heavy-handed guys, and will be seen next month taking on Matt Mitrione.
