A tough fighter, he really showed heart in the Werdum fight, refusing to go down despite taking a severe beating. Turn the clock back just a little to his bout with Alistair Overeem and you'll see similar perseverance - Browne was almost taken out by The Reem in a flurry of strikes early in the first round but overcame the onslaught, came back, and knocked Overeem down with a front kick and strikes of his own.
