10 World Cup 2018 Stars Who Could Be Transferred

10. Diego Laxalt (Genoa)

He first caught the eye for his rather unique hairstyle, but Uruguay's left-back Diego Laxalt later proved to be quite an interesting little player as the tournament progressed. He didn't notch up any goals or assists, but was a regular threat with his pace and crossing, as well as being a solid part of Uruguay's excellent defence.

Capable of playing in both defence and midfield, Laxalt is a great example of a modern wing-back, possessing enough defensive attributes to help his team out at the back while also having the pace and precision to run up the wing and whip in some crosses for the forwards.

A whole host of Premier League clubs have shown interest in Laxalt, with rumours linking the Genoa man with Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, West Ham, and Everton in recent days. Talksport, among other sources, says that any club interested in the 25-year-old will need to pay around £18 million to secure his services, but that could prove to be a bargain price if he can maintain his World Cup form into the new club season.
