10 Worst Footballing Decisions Celtic Ever Made

We name and shame those responsible.

Celtic, just like any other club, has had its good and bad periods within its history. The wonderful 60s and early 70s era brought a European cup and runners-up medal and 9-in-a-row, but then the dark, grim 90s era saw the famous 9-in-a-row matched by those fiercest of rivals in the south of Glasgow. Some of Celtic's bad moments and poor periods are hard to pin down to a single moment, especially when the club is so used to winning throughout its history; happily the good moments definitely outweigh the bad. Nevertheless, there are times - certainly recently - when the club has made a decision that just hasn't worked out for the best. These include managerial problems, player signings, and debacles between the players and the board. Every Celtic fan can think of at least a few moments that if things had happened differently, it could have made the difference between winning the title or a cup, and these moments are usually down to decisions being made by the board and/or the manager. This is the list of the worst footballing decisions made by Celtic, lending to some annoying periods we endured, fallouts, and some missed opportunities.
