10 Young Players Who Could Help England Win World Cup 2022
10. Rhian Brewster
He might not have made a professional appearance for Liverpool just yet, but Rhian Brewster is already being tipped as a star of the future. The 18-year-old striker was part of the squad that won the U-17 World Cup just last year, earning the Golden Boot award in the process after netting eight times in the tournament, including successive hat-tricks in the quarters and semis.
It was recently reported that Brewster had been offered a five-year deal to remain at Anfield but has been considering his options after being courted by European giants Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain. There's a lot of interest in the youngster and it's easy to see why.
Plenty of players perform great at U18 levels and fail to live up to that hype in later years, but Brewster seems like the real deal. At ease on the ball, capable of striking from range or dribbling into the box, his skillset could be compared to that of young French forward Kylian Mbappé, and if Brewster can start getting more game time in the next couple of years, a breakthrough into the senior England squad could become a real possibility.
