14 Key Details About The Class Action Lawsuit Against UFC

4. The Suit Doesn't See Pro Wrestling, Bellator, Or Anything Else As Competition To The UFC

The pro wrestling example is interesting given the CM Punk signing, but in short, the suit goes to lengths to explain why pro wrestling is a different kettle of fish altogether. It also takes a lot of credit away from Bellator, in essence stating that they aren't real competition. Is that really the case though? The suit goes on to list all the promotions the UFC has purchased/shut down/bought the content library for over the years: Pride, Affliction, EliteXC, WEC, HDNet Fights, Strikeforce, and so on. It lists Invicta as a non-competitor since they work with the UFC and appear on UFC Fight Pass, and note that Titan FC and similar regional promotions are just feeder leagues, not true competition. To that end, there is some truth to the matter. The initial amicable relationship between the WSOF and the UFC probably won't help matters either.
