Robbie Savage was something of a yellow-card magnet in his playing days, amassing 88 bookings over the course of his Premier League player. His many run-ins with referees often took a far more comical turn too. He accidentally flattened Peter Jones on one occasion, but found comeuppance when Matt Messias inadvertently smashed him in the jaw while signalling a free kick.
