Weight Class: Featherweight If there is any light at the end of the tunnel in Bellator's featherweight division, it's Bubba Jenkins (8-1). At least, they're acting like he's the next big thing, giving him a huge featured spot on their website over the past week or so and video promos as well. Jenkins, a former NCAA wrestling champ, is 5-1 in Bellator and has won four straight. If the Pitbull/Curran/Straus situation ever clears up, he could be in line for a title shot, and at just 26 years old he's only now hitting his prime. In Georgi Karakhanyan (2341) he has been given a decent but beatable opponent, and Jenkins will be favoured, despite Karakhanyan being the WSOF's first ever featherweight champion. He was one and done as a champ however, and is coming off the loss of his belt. Jenkins uses his wrestling to control and takes a decision.
