An electric night of mixed martial arts at the O2 in Dublin will long be remembered by fans. Undoubtedly one of the greatest nights in MMA, the Irish proved that it definitely won't be another five years before the UFC returns to the territory. 9,500 people packed the Dublin O2, creating an atmosphere that UFC President Dana White has called the greatest he has experienced in his 13 years with the organisation. Some of the best performances included Flyweight Neill Seery, who showed why he deserves to be in the UFC with a dominating win over Phil Harris. Also, Ilir Latifi showcased incredible power, with a vicious knockout of Chris Dempsey. However, the night was highlighted by the dominance of Straight Blast Gym fighters, all of whom winning their respective bouts. Patrick Holohan kick started the night with a submission win over Josh Sampo, and after that SBG looked unstoppable. With the crowd behind them, the wins kept adding up, with both Cathal Pendred and Gunnar Nelson rehashing the rear naked choke to go 3-0. It was up to Conor McGregor to top off the night and send the Irish home happy, which is exactly what he did. In his post fight interview he declared the Irish €œare here to take over.€ After their performances in Dublin, no one would question that statement. With all this in mind, here are five potential fights the UFC can make next.
