Weight Class: Women's Bantamweight Opening the main card of UFC 192 will be a key women's bantamweight clash between Jessica Eye and Ultimate Fighter winner Juliana Pena. Pena (7-2) returned from a long injury layoff in April and dominated Milana Dudieva. She's looking to continue that momentum against Eye (11-3, 1NC), who recently suffered a lop-sided loss to the consensus #2 female bantamweight in the UFC, Miesha Tate. This is a bit of an odd pairing from UFC matchmakers. Generally, you won't see a fighter coming off a one-sided loss paired up against one coming off a solid win. However, once upon a time, Eye was considered to be a potential Title contender, while Pena was a standout on TUF who went on to win the show in season 18, and who may be fast tracked due to the lack of contenders for Ronda Rousey (who, incidentally, was a coach on that season of the show). Who wins this? Eye is technically ranked higher, but she's coming off a tough loss and may be on the downswing. Pena has looked like a beast when she has fought, so if she's healthy, give her the edge. Look for her to finish early, stunning Eye and swarming.
