Weight Class: Middleweight The co-main event of the evening see Gegard Mousasi returning from a devasting loss to Uriah Hall to take on former title contender Thales Leites. Leites (25-5) was having a heck of a comeback in his current UFC stint before falling to Michael Bisping back in July in fight that headlined the Scottish card. Now, he looks to bounce back against Mousasi (37-6-2), who has held gold all over the world but has struggled to find consistency in the UFC. Who wins this bout? That's a tough call. Both men are very experienced fighters at the highest level of the middleweight division. The Thales Leites we see today is a much better fighter than the one who entered the cage against Anderson Silva and was part of one of the most embarrassing title fights of all time. Mousasi, meanwhile, has a laid back style that has served him well throughout his career but can be problematic when a fight goes to the judges. Both men are dangerous on the ground (12 subs for Mousasi, 14 for Leites), which may negate the ground game and turn this into a stand-up battle. If it goes the distance, Leites picks up the win, which is quite possible in this one. Leites by decision.
