Yes, you could drive a convoy of tanks through the gaping holes in the Everton rear guard, but theres a solid platform to build on. The Toffees are among the divisions top scorers at home and on the road - and if they address their much-publicised defensive frailties, theres no reason why they cant compete with the best under Martinez. With the natural talent of John Stones and the experience of veteran Phil Jagielka making up the spine of the Blues back line, its not a change of personnel thats needed but a change of mentality, along with some serious work on the training ground.
