Manchester United may be struggling defensively at the moment with Rio Ferdinand, Phil Jones and Jonny Evans all injured, but when United have all their defenders available they are at times unbeatable. The Red Devils defence includes Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, one of the best Premier League pairs at the moment. Along with them, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Jonny Evans who are all seen as the future of the club, along with Rafael and Fabio, who is currently on loan at Queens Park Rangers. Rafael is one defender who defiantly looks up for the challenge of becoming a first team regular. As well remain in his position and making crucial tackles he is also getting forward and even scoring goals.
1. Old Trafford Is A Fortress
Old Trafford, the Theatre of Dreams, the home of Manchester United, call it what you will the stadium that holds 75,000 is the one of the greatest Premier League stadiums ever. The atmosphere that the Manchester United fans create lifts the team and gives them every incentive to win games. The passion of the Stretford End is enough to make any player feel uncomfortable and whilst many teams have tried to cause problems for Man United at home, few have been successful. Manchester United dropped only 10 points last season at Old Trafford and which is a great achievement but as the team have been improved further with Shinji Kagawa and Robin van Persie, the Red Devils could well keep a 100% record at home.
