Quite a way to announce yourself in your Manchester derby debut. Robin Van Persie scored this curling free kick in the dying moments to earn United all three points. The Red Devils had led the game through Wayne Rooney who scored another before the break to give United a two goal half-time lead. A meltdown in the second-half though with goals from Yaya Toure and Pablo Zabaleta almost left the Red Devils disappointed to be heading back to Old Trafford with just one point. But it was the left boot of Van Persie that stole the show and Roberto Mancini must have been pondering the outcome if the Dutchman had signed for City.
