Centre midfield. Left back. As one of a back three. It doesn't really matter where you play David Alaba, he tends to excel. It was in midfield he first broke through, making his debut for the Austrian national team aged just 17, but it's since his conversion to left back that he's truly blossomed. Great athleticism, good on the ball, the ability to shoot for difference and, importantly, actually able to defend, he's become a key part of Bayern's team in the last few years, and aged just 23 he's only going to get better.
