Sunday's game is set to draw a good deal more than 70,000 fans to the Levi's Stadium which makes it a serious security risk, and one with which the US Government is taking no chances. Homeland Security designates every Super Bowl with a special event assignment rating of 1, a rating otherwise accorded to Presidential Inaugurations. What does that mean for fans? More checks, more cameras, more security. Better safe than sorry, though.
