The Panthers might be a 22-year-old team, but it took the recent formidable winning form in Charlotte to earn the respect that Carolina surely deserved. Despite several playoff appearances, Ron Rivera's boys still struggled in 2015 to win the acclaim that a 15-1 winning streak ought to deliver. Whilst the Panthers' Championship win has put paid to many doubts, players and coaching staff alike will still be hungry for the victory, come Sunday, to cement themselves as underdogs no more.
