6 Main Card Predictions For UFC Fight Night: Cerrone vs. Miller

5. John Lineker vs. Alptekin –zkiliç

Weight Class: Flyweight John Lineker (27-3), ranked seventh in the UFC flyweight division, looks to get his career back on track against Alptekin –zkiliç (9-2), who will be making his third appearance in the octagon. Lineker was once considered a possibility for a title shot at flyweight, but continual weight cutting issues (he missed weight three times) put a damper on the idea, and a loss to Ali Bagautinov at UFC 169 quashed the idea for at least a few more fights. Bagautinov went on to lose to champ Demetrious Johnson at UFC 174, then be suspended for a year by the B.C. Athletic Commission and the UFC due to a positive test for PEDs (EPO). His opponent is 1-1 in the UFC and looking to avoid back-to-back losses and the first losing streak of his career. While dangerous, Lineker should have little trouble with –zkiliç, and takes a decision if he can't get the TKO first. I'm calling a TKO for Lineker in this one - second round.
