TUF Brazil 3 featured coaches Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen, and the coach's fight at season's end, eventually scheduled for UFC 175, was to be one of the biggest grudge matches of all time. Of course, we all know the fight never happened, as Silva dodged his drug test, and Sonnen failed two tests of his own and subsequently retired. That's not to say the two never got physical. On the set of the show, Wanderlei Silva sparked a brawl when he initiated a confrontation with Sonnen, who had asked him what the date of their coach's fight would be (Silva had been struggling with injury and positioning for a better pay-day, according to reports). Silva responded, repeatedly, by saying "now" and moved to engage Sonnen, who told him "I can't let you get close" before shoving Silva back and defending himself. The brawl actually helped Sonnen's reputation in Brazil, as fans there had figured out that Sonnen had been playing a character all along. Silva, who apparently wasn't in on the joke, actually wound up on the losing end of things - both on set, where he was taken down, and in the court of public opinion, as his own people felt he had taken things too far.
