What do Chael Sonnen, Tito Ortiz, Dan Henderson, Quinton Jackson, Forrest Griffin and Chuck Liddell all have in common? They have come unstuck against the Ultimate Fighter season 2 winner, Rashad Evans. After winning his first five MMA matches under the guidance of Dan Severn, he was selected to compete in The Ultimate Fighter as a heavyweight beating off the challenge of Brad Imes in the final. Following the show, Evans dropped down a weight class to light heavyweight, a decision that proved instrumental to the success of his career. In his first eight fights at a different weight class, Suga Rashad Evans went undefeated, winning the UFC light heavyweight Championship from another TUF winner Forrest Griffin. Evans is currently out of action after suffering a knee injury during a training camp for a fight with Daniel Cormier at UFC 170 and is not expected to return anytime soon.
